-- Revenue Cycle -- The Director, Revenue Cycle designs, leads and implements all billing and collection functions, professional and technical, in a way that achieves the key metrics associated with high performance for similar hospitals, and also full compliance with appropriate regulations. Focus is directed to improving cash collections; reducing denials; improving the A/R aging; reducing the A/R balance; reducing and minimizing Bad Debt write-offs; ensuring that payments from payers are correct and reducing the percentage of Self-Pay balances. Will develop "Dashboard" reporting for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Will establish goals and performance expectations for agreed upon KPIs. The Director is also responsible for originating and leading revenue cycle improvement efforts in collaboration and, in conjunction with key management personnel of other departments and divisions. This involves planning, organizing and implementing revenue cycle policies and redesigning internal systems in areas such as registration, pre-authorization, patient copay and deductible balances and meeting payer requirements. Requirements: Bachelor's degree, 5 years relevant experience, organizational/communication/customer service skills, knowledge of UB2004, CMS 1500 and CPT billing issues. Capable in data analysis. Able to motivate and lead people not reporting directly to this position. |

-- Neurosurgery -- M-F, 8:30a-5p, flexible: The Physician’s Assistant (PA) practices under the general supervision of the neurosurgeon. The neurosurgery physician assistant provides neurosurgical care to children with neurosurgical diagnoses, both in the inpatient and outpatient settings. Inpatient responsibilities include assisting with the admitting process, daily rounds, transfers, discharges, and consultations. Outpatient duties include participation in neurosurgery, myelomeningocele, and neuro-oncology clinics. Position may include assisting the neurosurgeon in the operating room with possible training needed. Prescriptive authority must be obtained. The role includes performing neurosurgical procedures such as shunt taps and lumbar punctures. Requires Master’s degree and Physician’s Assistant licensure. Pediatric neurosurgery experience preferred. Call requirements to be determined. |

The NP acts as a consultant to the patient/family, nursing staff, other employees and physicians and the community in the area of neonatal/pediatric health. The surgical NP performs comprehensive physicals and histories on pediatric patients and orders preoperative medications in collaboration with the anesthesiologists. Ohio RN licensure, CPR certification, COA-NP certification in State of Ohio and Prescriptive authority required. PALS certification and one-year experience in pediatrics preferred. Communication, customer service and computer skills required. Three-five years experience, perioperative and hospital experience preferred. |
